I am trying to bring up Leopard board as host for MSC class.
With me I am leopard board version 1.6 with kernel 2.6.32
Going through the forums, following are the steps that I trying out.
1. Remove USB driver from kernel.
2. Removed jumper J2/J3 so that peripheral comes up as OTG
3. at Linux, I add jumpers J2/J3 for power as well as to configure as Host
4. Insert Module musb)hdrc.ko
5. Attach USB device (I am using 2.0 thumbdriver, is this the issue?)
Post this I am expecting device to show up. But current nothing.
Observations:
Following is the status before I put the Power to vbus
Status: MHDRC, Mode=Host (Power=e0, DevCtl=80)
OTG state: a_idle; inactive
Options: cppi-dma, host, debug=0 [eps=5]
Root port status: 00000100
DaVinci: ctrl=00 stat=0 phy=1d0
rndis=00000 auto=0000 intsrc=00000000 intmsk=01f71e1f
CPPI: txcr=1 txsrc=0 txena=f; rxcr=1 rxsrc=0 rxena=f

Following is after the power * setting ID to gnd

End of either of exercise, I am not sure if USB is responding
Question:
1. is USB Host and MSC tested to work fine on leopard Board 1.6?
2. Is there any SW driver issues that we need to worry about?
3. Will bringing the board to TI help solving the issue faster?
4. Any our guidance / Support will be highly appreciated.
