TDA2HG: how to decrease the frequency of DSP &EVE ？

now we use tda2hg speed R grade chip on our board , and run linux on MPU. we want to switch it to tda2hg speed D grade .

my leader let me to limit the frequency of cores to speed D grade . so that we can test our algorithm's performance .

i have read the Processor_SDK_Linux_Automotive_FAQ about how to change the mpu frequency & how to change the opp mode.

but the frequence of dsp & eve under opp norm mode is higher than speed D grade Max frequency. i don't know how to decrease them

Hi,

can you try to modify the structure "dra7_opp_dsp_clk_rates" in u-boot/arch/arm/cpu/armv7/omap5/fdt.c and change the values of the OPP you use to:

{500000000, 500000000, 333333333}

and see if it works?

thanks for your feedback.

yeah , i try this case . but use the command "omapconf show opp " just DSP frequency is changed. the EVE frequency is still 535MHz .

how to chang the EVE frequency ?

Please look at Utils_eveBoot function in vision_sdk\links_fw\src\rtos\utils_common\src\utils_eveloader.c

This has the calls to
