Dear members,
I built a DSP board with C6720 and AIC23 codec at McASP1 port (AXR1[0] is transmitter, AXR1[1] is receiver; serializer 0 & 1 used) and tested the application
"How to Create Delay-based Audio Effects on a TMS320C6727 DSP" and the code spraaa5.zip sucessfully. I changed some parameters in McASP initial and hardware and software works :-)
Question: I use a GEL file to switch between the bypass mode of the AIC23 codec (over I2C initial; for direct audio) and the configuration of DAC using with the DSP engine. Both works , but the bypass mode
seems to sound clearer. The DAC mode seems to have a smal amount of noise... and I hear quite single tone (like the frame sync or so).
Can anybody give tips where I can improve the code application to remove this noise effects?
Is it possible to use the Digital Loopback to chack the McASP and DAC mode of the AIC23 codec?
Thank you and best regards,
Michael.
