arecord - error (pcm_read:1529: read error: input/output error)

Hi Experts,

I am now working on latest PSP: linux 2.6.32 - psp 03.00.01.06.

When I run the arecord with any combination of arguments, I get the following error,

pcm_read:1529: read error: input/output error

(Mic connection is fine as i have tested it at u-boot level)

How do i solve this ?
