Well there are a couple of errors related to the pin setup for MMC, you need to get those fixes, and this may fix your card detection issue...

• As for the "no pinctrl state for default" mode error, looks like your "IO delay" DTS includes may be missing. See how how TI board DTS files include #include "dra74x-mmc-iodelay.dtsi" for example:

• Then you also need to include sets of pins according to your desired transfer modes, look at this top-level file for an example how mmc1 and mmc2 are defined:

• As for "MMC: no card present", did you define a card-detection GPIO via "cd-gpios" property? See below for an example:

You can review U-Boot error codes in the associated header file here: https://git.ti.com/cgit/processor-sdk/processor-sdk-u-boot/tree/include/linux/errno.h?h=processor-sdk-u-boot-2019.01

If you search through the U-Boot tree ("git grep") for that error message you will find it is being emitted by drivers/mmc/mmc.c:mmc_start_init() as a result of a failed card detection, which may be due to a DTS configuration issue as discussed above, or some hardware/connection issue in your design.
