what is the current status of wl1271 support (wlan,bt,fm) on android?

WLAN & BT ( basic functionality) is targeted for next rowboat release.

Will the next release be Gingerbread?  If so is there an estimate as to when the release can be expected?  Thanks.

Next release for OMAP3, AM35x and AM37x will be on FroYo. The Gingerbread porting work has started, the release is not planned yet.

If I understand correctly, no work is being done for freescale processors (namely imx233)?

Do you have any idea on the timeframe for the FroYo release of these drivers (for wl1271)?

where is the latest wl1271? should I be getting it on linux-wireless website??

and in addition to the wl12xx directory, what else is needed/has been changed for the 1271?

android side intergration is done for WL12XX . (http://gitorious.org/rowboat)

User guide for driver integration will be available before end of this month on arowboat.org.

system-wlan-ti ...for the 1271 chip...

Is the 1271 chip on that website somewhere?

oops, i meant system-wlan-ti is for the 1251 chip NOT the 1271 chip

support is added for 1271 chip and same will be released on 30th,Jan 2011
