TDA2PXEVM: the suggestion of comunication between DSP and EVE

Hi TI

My way is malloc a shared memory at the arm，so we can send the phy addr of this memory to DSP and EVE，so they can fill some data in this memory，the DSP write,the EVE read.

is this scheme could work?

and could you tell me a TI suggested method ?

Hi,

You can allocate memory from shared region so that it will be visible to all cores like below example.

pBaseAddr = Utils_memAlloc(
UTILS_HEAPID_DDR_CACHED_SR,
bufferSize,
VPS_BUFFER_ALIGNMENT);

Hi,

Above api will give a address which will be visible to all cores.

So when you send that address from one core to other, other core will be able to access that.

We have some ipc links in VSDK using which we send data from one core to other.
