Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

I am developing a TCP server program in NDK socket API (TI-RTOS+NDK),and need close the socket when the network abnormally break.

How to do it？

processor_sdk_rtos_am437x_6_01_00_08, Code Composer Studio Version: 9.1.0.00010. AM4376

Hi Bin,

According to the ti_am4_610/ndk_3_61_01_01/docs/ndk/NDK_API_Reference.html. The TCP server daemon can be freed by calling the following:

DaemonFree(hEcho);

Hi Bin,

In DaemonNew(), there is a callback function as a parameter:

int (*pCb)(SOCKET,uint32_t).

I assume this function will get called with there is an issue with the network.

I tried another implement:

set the SO_KEEPALIVE valid by using the function setsockopt, and add the codes as follow in the main():

    temp = 100;   // Idle time before 1st TCP keep probe
    CfgAddEntry(hCfg, CFGTAG_IP, CFGITEM_IP_TCPKEEPIDLE, CFG_ADDMODE_UNIQUE, sizeof(uint32_t), (uint8_t *)&temp, 0);
    temp = 10;    // TCP keep probe interval
    CfgAddEntry(hCfg, CFGTAG_IP, CFGITEM_IP_TCPKEEPINTVL, CFG_ADDMODE_UNIQUE, sizeof(uint32_t), (uint8_t *)&temp, 0);
    temp = 30;     // Maximum TCP keep probing time before drop
    CfgAddEntry(hCfg, CFGTAG_IP, CFGITEM_IP_TCPKEEPMAXIDLE, CFG_ADDMODE_UNIQUE, sizeof(uint32_t), (uint8_t *)&temp, 0);

It is OK now.
