How to Interface AM1808 with Cyclone4 FPGA?

Hi,

I want to interface TI AM1808 processor with Altera Cyclone 4 FPGA. I want to know what kind of interface i need to do. In Am 1808 data sheet its mensioned that interface can be done through Univarsal parallel port(UPP) and i'm seeking help that how it can be done. In Altera cyclone4 data sheet its mensioned that we can interface an external processor to FPGA using PCI express link, i have confused with this. Please help me with this regards.. Vasanth,

Please see the wiki (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Introduction_to_uPP) for sample use case of connecting the device with FPGAs. The connections that are shown from DSP are also applicable from ARM (for AM1808).

Gaurav,

I had gone through the document you suggested, but in Cylone 4 handbook its mensioned that the interface can be achieved through PCIe. I found that AM 1808 doesn't have PCIe hard IP. I want to know that 1) the interfaces from fpga and also 2) how to configure fpga.... Please help me with this regards.. Thank you..
