Hi,

I am using custom board similar to industrial development kit with AM4376 as a SOC.

After compiling the linux kernel downloaded from the TI website, seems to be the remoteproc1 and remoteproc2 not seen in the /sys/class/remoteproc/ folder.

What procedure that i need to follow to keep this feature part of my Kernel compilaiton would be great help.

I checked most of the references that used for building the Linux kernel in TI website and nothing could be an help in resolving this problem.

Hello Bhabesh,

1) What version of the Linux SDK are you using? I would expect RemoteProc to be enabled in the kernel configs by default. See section "How to Enable PRU Support in Kernel" of the Getting Started with PRU-ICSS documentation for more information.

2) Are you using PRU Ethernet, or a custom PRU application? Make sure your device tree looks right. Example for PRU Ethernet device tree is in your SDK under arch/arm/boot/dts/am437x-idk-evm.dts . Example for general PRU application is in your SDK under arch/arm/boot/dts/am437x-gp-evm.dts
