AM3505: Which source can make sys_nreswarm get low.

Hi all,

Customer find sometimes the sys_nreswarm of am3505 will get low.

The TRM said internal reset will cause the sys_nreswarm get low.They want to know which source will cause this happen?

Could you please help this? thanks!

Hi,

Add some background information of the issue.

Assertion of the sys_nrewarm get low is not only found during power up. And we do not enable WDT1 or WDT2.

Hi Biser,

Thanks for the reply. We would like to know how to further identify the reset source that cause the 'sys_nreswarm' get low.

We use external CPLD to monitor and record the 'sys_nreswarm' get low event, and our software application only checks the event at the start point by reading the external CPLD. So when our application detects the get low event, it means the software has already been reset and re-executed(Of course, it is possible that the CPU is also reset and cause the software is re-executed). My concern is that how can software backtrack the reset source happened in last execution.
