J7EVM- Camera Sensor -Fusion board.

Hello all,

We are working in J7EVM. We have J7-SOM, Common processor board & fusion board. We want to test camera application via vsdk apps. What are the sensor driver validated via Fusion board. ?

Is there any other sensor compatible with Fusion board ?

From your documents, we can see it is validated only on IMX390+UB953 FPDLink .

From where, can i get the hardware IMX390+UB953 FPDLink sensor ?

Is AR0233 & AR0820 is compatible with Fusion board ?

Is it possible to connect the sensor directly to Common processor board ?

OnSemi has MARS boards (UB953 based) which are compatible with Fusion board.

Are u saying that instead of Fusion board, we can use Mars board.

One more question, Is it possible to connect the sensor directly to Common processor board ?

We have a Camera sensor with CSI interface. Is it possible to connect this sensor ?

MARS is a camera board, with sensor and serializer. Fusion is a deserializer board. You need both.

You can connect a camera directly to CSI interface on the EVM, but your camera interface must be compatible with the EVM. Also, there is no example driver provided by TI for direct connection. You will need to modify the driver for this.
