Hi..,

I want to map external NAND flash in custom board (am335x).

how to map the external NAND flash to custom board through GPMC(general-purpose memory controller) interface?

Hi Chandana,

You can refer to TMDXEVM3358 board where MT29F2G08ABAEAWP Micron NAND Flash memory is used. This NAND flash is connected to AM335x GPMC module.

For how to integrate NAND flash in uboot, you can refer to below TMDXEVM3358 uboot files and user guide:

u-boot/board/ti/am335x/board.c

u-boot/board/ti/am335x/mux.c

u-boot/arch/arm/dts/am335x-evm.dts

For how to integrate NAND flash in linux kernel, you can refer to below DTS file and user guide:
