CCS/AM5718: Conversion of SBL .out file to binary file

I am using AM5718, RTOS I need to convert SBL out file to .bin.

I have followed the link http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_Foundational_Components.html and found the path file mentioned in this post

e2e.ti.com/.../2965234

But the converted .bin file i got was of size 0.99 GB , size of my out file was around 1.45MB. Could you guide me how to proceed further.?

Hi Shan,

Make sure you do not have any large initialized data buffers in your program.

HI,

I rebuilt my SBL using TI provided source code with out any modification and my .out file size was around 1. 4 Mb,that's i mentioned in my previous post . In my case image file size was too larger than my out file.

Hi Shan,

Which example you have tried to convert without modification? I converted the rtos_template_app_am572x_a15 (on Windows installation, it was done by the post build step in the CCS project file). The app.bin is 147 KB, the corresponding out file is 2.4MB.
