CCS/AM5718: Erasing flash device

Hi,

I am using AM5718 ,RTOS. I need to erase my flash device after converting the flash device to bootable one .I think its not possible to erase the device by using CCS.I couldn't able to connect the device using JTAG after flashing SBL and app images to the flash device . Then how we erase the device?? Is it possible with USB.?? .

hi,

I am using AM5718 EVM. and my flash device is S25FL256S.

Hi,

Please try the following to see if allows you to connect to the target via JTAG:

Allow board to finish booting
Launch target configuration
Click on A15_0
Click Run->Reset->System Reset
Immediately connect to A15_0, Run->Connect Target.

Please check you don't have an SD card plugged into the EVM since the bootloader will boot from this before booting from the QSPI.
