  • Randy,

       Thanks for the response.

I just cant identify the reason why two devices are not detecting in my JTAG chain of Lyrtech PADK board. I am using XDS510 USB emulator and the scan chain shows IR length of 10 and one JTAG device. But in case of XDS510 PP PLUS im getting 54 IR length and 2 JTAG devices. But i need to go along with USB emu due to some reasons. I am trying this for past 3 days and end up wit no improvemnts.

I can able to use my usb emu with other hardware like 6713 DSK successfully. If i trying to connect the hardware in CCS3.3 by ignoring the JTAG scan issue i am getting the Bad silicon revision error.  suggest me a method.

    Looking forward for your reply.

    Shan.

  • The TI Wiki Pages and a search there for XDS510 will help you with debugging your problem.

My only suggestion outside of the knowledge on the TI Wiki site would be to make sure you have the latest release of CCS 3.3 (I think it is SR12) and to update your emulation drivers.

  • Hi Randy,

i have tried all the possibilities but it says the same error as i mentioned in the previous post TI wiki pages helps but my problems aren't solved.....

  • Which exact version of CCS are you using? Go to Help->About to find this.

Which USB XDS510 emulator are you using?

Have you downloaded the latest emulator drivers from the manufacturer of your USB emulator?

Can you successfully connect to the PADK using the XDS510PP PLUS?

Can you try a different USB port on your computer? Also, try a powered USB hub?
