I'd like to learn more about the C7x DSP in Jacinto 7. Where can I find more information?
The C7x is Texas Instruments’ next-generation fixed and floating-point DSP platform.
The C7x DSP is described in section “C71x DSP Subsystem” of the AM752x/DRA829/TDA4xM Technical Reference Manual (http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spruil1).
TI’s C/C++ compiler and documentation for C7x can be downloaded at http://www.ti.com/tool/C7000-CGT.
This compiler is also included in the Processor SDK RTOS Automotive (PSDKRA), at http://www.ti.com/tool/PROCESSOR-SDK-DRA8X-TDA4X.
The C7x is used by TIOVX and TIDL software components, included in PSDKRA.
Training material on C7x can be found in section "C7x Training" at PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AUTOMOTIVE.
Additional questions and answers about C7x can also be found at https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/tags/C7x.
