C6713 HST question

Hello, I am just getting started with the C6713 DSK. 

I would like to implement a host application using HST that is similar to the host application "signalprog.exe" in the hostio tutorial example (which uses RTDX).

Does anyone know where I could find some sample code (in C++) that implements this?
