HTTP/SSL Running on 55xx using BIOS??

I need to run a HTTP Client and SSL on 5502 with TI/BIOS.  Does anyone know if this has already been done and the challenges involved?  Please provide me with any 3rd party vendors or recommendation on porting over an open source HTTP/SSL.
