  • Hi,

Copying questions from the simulation expert below:

What OS is being used for the simulation?

What is the version number for the IBIS-AMI models used?

    Best regards,
    Kevin

  • Hello Tao,

We received the following guidance from Cadence:

There is one pre-requisite for running the AMI models with System SI – we need to install Visual Studio Community 2013 on your laptop – this does not require any license.

    Here are the Steps:

    1.       Go to the following page:

    https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/news/vs2013-community-vs.aspx

    2.       Click on the Download Visual Studio Community 2013 Link.

    3.       This will download the setup file (vs_community.exe) – run this file to install Visual Studio 2013.

    4.       Launch Visual Studio 2013 once – it will ask for a one-time setup of Environment settings.  Select Visual C++ and click on Start Visual Studio. This will configure Visual Studio for future use.

Also ensure that the LIBPATH setting in the setup is accurate.

    Regards,

    Kyle
