Just afraid we might be missing something important.

EVM from Spectrum Digital.

On page-9 of the schematic, part U1L for DM6437 has 6 pins: MH1~MH6. Anybody has any idea on what they are?

Spectrum Digital has confirmed that - This is part of the Socket's mounting holes and mounting pins. It is not part of the part BGA footprint.
