Dear Champs,
I found DDR_CKE should not connected to VTT termination resistors on AM437x schematic checklist as below.
Do not connect DDR_RESET or DDR_CKE to VTT termination resistors. These should be connected directly between AM437x and DDR.
I found DDR_CKE was not connected to VTT termination resistors in GP EVM schematic, but it was not in IDK as below.
and also, I found there was no mention for DDR_CKE in the datasheet except below revision history.
'Removed DDR_CKE0 and CKE info from 16-Bit DDR3 Interface Using One 16-Bit DDR3 Device with VTT Termination'
Is it OK to ignore the above statement for DDR_CKE in the AM437x schematic checklist?
Thanks and Best Regards,
SI.
Hi,
The schematic checklist is correct. DDR_CKE should not be terminated.
