After reviewing the SPRUF98M document numerous times I find myself unable to run the calculations mentioned in section 7.4.11.3.2 (Spread Spectrum Clocking). The equations seem straight forward enough, but where the variables come from seems unclear. fc is obvious since it's original clock, but fm seems unclear. The examples are of no help either since numbers seem assumed and there isn't any background on it. Can anyone further clarify what/where all of the values come from?
