Hi TI Thermal Expert

Can you help share the power specified for TDA4xM thermal model with 15_network /16_network /3B_network /5B_network /7 _network data.

e.g. heat flows for objects with power specified.

Hi Kyle

Thanks for your support. we use the "DRA829_TDA4xM_AM752x_Delphi_Thermal_model_ICEPACK.tzr" find the default power is 10W from thermal model.

But we get the power estimates the TDA4VM power 14W@85C and 15W@105C and 18W@125C .

So for thermal simulation we use change the default 10W from your thermal model to 14W for 85C. Is it correct ?

Yutai, Yes that makes sense. Though you may want to use 18W as a worst case number since our SoC is spec'ed for 125 degC max Tj. If your system passes then you're done. If not then it would make sense to resimulate using the power for the actual junction temperature.
