DRA80M: Can the AM65x / DRA80M device meet Air Pressure and Altitude requirements as follows?

Part Number: DRA80M

Hello TI Community,

Can the AM65x / DRA80M device meet Air Pressure and Altitude requirements as follows?

For non-operating states (i.e. the TI device is not powered at all)

  • From 500m [0.3 miles] (108kPa) below sea level
  • To 15.24km [9.5 miles] (11kPa) above sea level

For operating states (i.e. the TI device is powered and functioning)

  • From 500m [0.3 miles] (108kPa) below sea level
  • To 5.6km [3.5 miles] (50kPa) above sea level

During Transport (i.e. the TI device is transported in sealed T&R or Tray)

  • Four cycles of air shipment
  • From 100m below sea level
  • To 15.24km above sea level

I have checked the AM65x / DRA80M Datasheet at Technical Reference Manual for this device at ti.com and see no mention of altitude and pressure ratings.

I have checked the Public E2E forum for similar questions. I see that the post at the following link is similar, but does not directly match this question.

  • Jason,

Though we don't have firm specs on these figures, those altitude conditions shouldn't be an issue as long as a) the part is immersed in "air" and not some form of corrosive liquid, and b) changes in altitude/pressure are gradual (not instantaneous).

    Regards,
