AM3874: Hi-Pot test@ 1850 VAC for 2 seconds

Part Number: AM3874

Hi,

My customer is using AM3874CCYE100  and they do the Hi-Pot test(  1850 VAC for 2 seconds ) at production line.

They found the fail rate is 6% (Total units run: 100 / Total fail quantity: 6) and then DVI ouput unstable or NO DVI output.

Please help to check if AM3874CCYE100  can pass  Hi-Pot test(  1850 VAC for 2 seconds ) .

Thanks.

  • Mike,

If I understand the question, this would seem to be more applicable to the power supply design of your system.

The SoC specs DC voltage levels for different domains that vary from 1.2V +/-5%, 1.8V +/-5%, 3.3V +/-5%.  You should check if those DC voltages are being maintained at the required levels during your Hi-Pot testing.

In addition, you should check other system level voltage tolerances to be sure your overall system is being operated in spec.

    Regards,

    Kyle
