[TDA4M]Questions about HDR artifacts

We used TDA4M EVM Board(Beta)

* EVM Board Model : J721EXCP01EVM

* S/W version : Processor SDK RTOS Automotive (PSDKRA) v6.1.0

*Sensor : AR0147 / 30FPS / HDR-3Exp

As shown in the video, a pink color can be seen around.

The PWL table was set according to the sensor data.

Sensor module companies are also looking for solutions.

TDA4v also advises on measures that can be minimized

Hello HJ,

The artifacts are usually caused by incorrect HDR merge inside the sensor. There could be several reasons for it

1. Incorrect exposure ratios for T1/T2?t3

2. Whitebalance differences between different sub-pixels

I would suggest you to capture a RAW image while moving the camera so that we can verify that the artifacts are present in the RAW image.

Artifacts of TDA4v EVM board problems are much more numerous than others.

Is there a way that the problem can be minimized with the VISS block?

I reviewed your decompanding settings and they look wrong. It is possible that is causing HDR artifacts.

We have been validated through a Onsemi Office.

Can I minimize it in the VISS block?

Have you validated that the sensor output is artifact free?
