AM3517 wince 6.0 boot ,have to be waiting for about 20 seconds after RTC driver???My driver doesn't work well?

Dear all

My wince boot from nand flash,,,need 40s totally. I find that it have to wait for about 15s after init RTC.

    Hi Wang,

    Here are the details. You might want to upgrade to the latest available BSP version to see this reduced boot time.

    Nand       omap3530 – 18 sec    dm3730 – 14 sec am3517 – 17 sec

    SD          omap3530 – 32 sec    dm3730 – 28 sec am3517 – 36 sec

    Ethernet  omap3530 – 43 sec    dm3730 – 40 sec  am3517 – 40 sec

    Boot time is measured from powering on device till calibration screen appears on LCD. Retail version of NK.bin was in use for these measurements.

    Wang,

    We've done boot time optimization on different TI platforms and has achieved very good boot time numbers as good as 2.6 secs on Linux with applications. We could boot linux kernel with bootloader and mount the filesystem in about 700ms on DM36x. If you are interested please get in touch with us.
