Part Number: AM5726

Hi Team,

I have a question in AM5725. i could found that MMC1/MMC3/MMC4 are support SDR25 timing. but i can't find whether MMC2 support SDR25 timing. whether MMC2 support SDR25 timing?

  • Hi,

    MMC2 supports SDR25 (1.8V IOs): up to 24 MBps (48 MHz clock).

Please refer also to errata i843 MMC1/2/3 Speed Issues

  • Hi Stan,

    Thank you for your reply.

    also have other questions:

    1)about program download:

How to download the program in AM5726 while volume production?

    2)power loss:

I download the power loss calculator from our TI.com but I found that I can't change the "DSP statue" in excel:

does this matter to the calculator result?

    Brandon.

  • Hi Brandon,

    1) It is important to know that any firmware/software is stored in an external memory and not in the SoC.

One way would be to boot from USB or UART (from a host PC), then the SBL will download an image via USB or UART and write it to the flash memory  (so called Preflashing stage).

If this is too slow for you, you can pre-flash a number of flash memory chips before mounting (soldering) on the PCB.

    2) I don't have an answer for this. I hope this will be answered here soon.

    regards,

    Stan
