Our customer wants to know the correct procedure for reset by software to reconfigure SRIO. For their software, SRIO is reset by PSC, GBL_EN and BLKn_EN, and then re-initialized, then the recovery sequence that is described in Appendix B on the User Guide is performed, but shows OUTPUT ERROR-STOPPED.
I am concerned that the SerDes is not reset. In the previous related thread, it is mentioned that the SerDes is not affected by GBL_EN.
Is the SerDes affected by PSC (Power Sleep Controller)? If not, could you tell me how to reset or reconfigure the SerDes?
By the way, SRIO seems to work correctly after removing the reset by PSC, GBL_EN and BLKn_EN, the reconfiguration of SerDes (PLL, Rx, Tx), and the reconfiguration of PRESCALER_SELECT in PER_SET_CNTL register from their code on a trial basis.
