It depends on what you are trying to boot. You always start out with the SBL to boot RTOS images. But, if you want to boot RTOS + HLOS images (or add early CAN response), then you would add the "can boot app mcu rtos" that is shown in the doc link that Vishal shared above.

The core SBL documentation for AM65x and Jacinto 7 processors is online here:
