Hi dear TIer,

I am woking on tda2sx with A15 working on linux.

my usecase is :

NullSource -> Alg (DSP)->display

CMD_link (A15)

In this case, can I read file from SD card with IPU1_0 with NullSource link ?

Hi,

IPU1 (core 0 & 1 are) not supported when IPU_PRIMARY_CORE=ipu2, So will not recommend using IPU1.

So change your use-case as below:

NullSource (A15) -> Alg (DSP)->display

Thanks for your reply.

But I stll have 2 questions:

1) I see so many usecases under hlos using IPU1, while in cfg.mk ipu1 is not included.

for example: vision_sdk\apps\src\hlos\adas\src\usecases\null_src_decode_display.

2) Why IPU1 can't be thr primary core by default when A15 runs on linux.

Hi,

1) This will run on the IPU2 core only & you can verify that at run time because IPU_PRIMARY_CORE=ipu2( The link will run on the primary core)

2) You can set IPU1 as primary core but not recomended
