Hi,
I am using TMS320C5515 based target board. I am trying to connect the board using xds510USB emulator in CCS3.3 but couldnot find the exact driver of c5515. Will the drivers of C5505 suffice for connecting to C5515.

Hi Pratap,
Thanks for the reply.
I have having doubt whether the C5505 drivers will work for the C5515 target board. In the set up CCS3.3 , I am able to trace only C5505 driver. When I connect to the board using the C5505 driver then the CCS3.3 shows C5505 init complete but after that it is not able to connect to the board.
Can u pl guide me in customising the GEL file the C5515 specific board. Also guide us on which driver to select for the 5515 board in the Set up CCS3.3 .
It is very urgently required to connect the 5515 board from CC3.3.
Thanks and regards,
Ashish Gupta
Hi Asish,
Select the "C5505 XDS510USB Emulator" under the factory boards tab of the CCS setup configuration. You can also find this setup file in CCS with name c5505_xds510usb.ccs. You should be able to connect to C5515 board using this configuration and drivers.
Do you have C5515 CSL source code?. You can download it from http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/sprc133.html. Download and install the one under "C55XCSL-LOWPOWER" column. You can find the gel file for C5515, c5505evm_pg20.gel, under the path ..\c55xx_csl\build\.
Are you using C5515 EVM from TI or Is it a custom board?.
Pratap.
Ashish,
It appears that you need to install the latest drivers. Visit this site (http://support.spectrumdigital.com/) and install the one that will work for you.
Basically, C5505 and C5515 are the same to the emulator.
