Dear Champs,

My customer is looking for the method to debug DSP while Linux OS is running, and I found below section based on K2G.

But it is hard to applied to AM572x and could not find how 'DSP_out_of_reset()' function can be implemented on GEL file for AM57x.

Could you please guide me how 'DSP_out_of_reset()' function can be implemented for AM572x?

SI,

The same steps described for K2G can be used for AM57x but the GEL function to perform this function is different. The function to wake up the DSP (DSP1SSClkEnable_API) is located in the file AM572x_multicore_reset.gel. The description for this DSP wakeup is provided in in RTOS User guide in http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_how_to_guides.html#am572x-gp-evm-hardware-setup (Refer multi-core initialization)

Please note that when A15 is running Linux, the GEL file needs to be run from Debug DAP core (similar to K2G) to prevent Linux from crashing.
