Compiler/TDA3XEVM: errors when building eve-dsp communication in starterware example

hi,all

when i am building eve starterware mailbox communication example(eve-dsp), eve is ok ,however, when i tries to build dsp ,it comes with the error that

1.cannot find file "D:/TI_EVEsoftware/TI/ccs/tools/compiler/ti-cgt-c6000_8.3.6/lib/rts6740.lib"(but there is a lib called rts6740_elf.lib in the same folder)

2.fatal error: illegal attempt to place ".cinit" before ".far" in "GROUP_1"

any one know how to reslove this?

Hi Hailiang,

Looks like the new compiler version has renamed the library name. Can you replace rts6740.lib staterware\Rules.make file to rts6740_elf.lib and try.

i have tried to rename the lib it seems fine ,but another mistake occured that it says:

fatal error: illegal attempt to place ".cinit" before ".far" in "GROUP_1"

I'm confused.

Hi Hailiang,

Will it possible to try this with c6000_7.4.2 version of DSP compiler. That's the version we have used for our validataion.
