TDA4VM: Regarding failure after loading DSP images on custom board

Dear Sir,

I was successfully able to load the DSP with provided Bin_U-boot and was able to boot up the custom board. Afterwards, I run some tests and I got the attached log failure. Can you please have a look what exactly it signifies ?

I have also attached the final patches we have created after enabling dsp’s on SDK 06_02_00.

Hi Manish,

If you don't include the DSP internal memory loading changes there are no issues?

Let me review the changes and get back.
One thing you need to isolate is weather this issue is seen after moving to latest SDK or latest SDK + DSP patches.

Hi Vishal,

Thanks a lot for your reply. This happened after moving to NewSDK + DSP.

Also, now when we run the test script to read ADC and all the current consumption goes till 1.6 A but that is other issue and also we are not able to read ADC channel 0 now.

Hi Manish,

So if you don't include the DSP patches you don't see the issue on new SDK?
Let's use this thread only for one issue. Please open a different thread for ADC questions.

Hi Manish,

Looked at the u-boot changes you shared and they look OK. All the changes are in line with changes done during board bring up.

Need you to clarify weather latest SDK works OK if you don't load DSP.
Want to narrow down the issue between latest SDK and the DSP changes.

Hi Vishal,

Yesterday we were able to resolve the issue sorry it completely skipped from my mind to inform you on the portal and thanks a lot for reaching back.

Now it works fine even with the DSP. We realized that the strange behavior was happening because on one of the custom board we didn't have a fan to cool the SOC and on the other with the fan it worked completely fine.
