The DVSDK 4.01 update release is now available for download at:
This release supports OMAP-L138, TMS320DM3730, OMAP3530, TMS320DM365 and the soon-to-be-released DM36x (TMS320DM368-based) EVMs.
The following enhancements have been made versus previous SDK releases:
For TMS320DM365 specifically:
- The DVSDK encode demo is updated with options to disable preview and file recording so that users can better evaluate performance when doing encode only without these features.
- Utility for creating bootable SD cards has been enhanced to support SDHC cards.
- Rootfs is configured to use system wide CMEM heap configuration.
For TMS320DM368 specifically:
- Encode support at 1080P resolution.
- The DVSDK demos are updated with the following new features:
- 1080P resolution capture using the Leopard Imaging camera board in encode demo
- 1080I resolution preview in encode demo
- Options to disable preview and file recording in encode demo
- Performance improvements in encodedecode demo
- The setup script now provides an option to select between camera board or composite/component as video input.
- Rootfs is configured to use system wide CMEM heap configuration.
For OMAP3530 specifically:
- Includes Graphics SDK 4_01_00_09_00_00_1
- Rootfs is configured to use system wide CMEM heap configuration.
For TMS320DM3730 specifically:
- Support for DM3730 ES 1.2 Silicon
- Support for 720p H264 and MPEG4 video decode
- Includes Graphics SDK 4_01_00_09_00_00_1
- Rootfs is configured to use system wide CMEM heap configuration.
For OMAP-L138 specifically:
- C6Run package has been included
- Qt based DSP Fractal out-of-box demo using C6Run has been included
- DSP Benchmark demo using C6Accel has been included
- Multimedia demo using GStreamer has been included
- Updated PSP version to enable SD boot
- Rootfs is configured to use system wide CMEM heap configuration.
