TDA4VM: External 500Ohm to VSS purpose

Hi,

In the J721E SoM there have been placed five 500E_0.1% resistor to VSS.(R210,R218,R234,R237,R238)

But I've checked with vendor it's not normal value for 500Ohm. And the reference BOM are not using automotive grade part either.

Could you check the purpose for chosing this special resistor value? Or could it replace for normal value like 499Ohm_0.1%?

Jimmy,

We have confirmed that a value of 499-ohm 1% resistor is OK for the USB0/1_RCALIB resistor. Docs will be updated with the same.

Hi Kyle,

What about CSI1_RXRCALIB(F15), DSI_TXRCALIB(F12), CSI0_RXRCALIB(F16) ?

There have another 3 pins are using 500E_0.1% in reference schematic.

Jimmy, Yes 499 1% is ok for those as well.
