Our device uses USB1 port of the am3352 to connect the USB to 4 Uarts IC of FTDI to expand 4 RS-485 ports.In the customer's field, these RS-485 ports are used to connect intelligent sensor. The customer complains that there will be several communication interruptions between these RS-485 ports and intelligent sensors in a day.
We found that the kernel(SDK7 Version:Linux 3.12.10) of the am3352 will have abnormal information when the communication interruption occurs, as shown:
The USB1 port of the am3352 uses the PIO mode, and the DMA mode has problems because of the previous discovery.
We don't know what causes such errors. In the actual use of TI's am3352 platform, its USB port is very unstable in terms of hardware and software, causing us great losses.
