TDA2PXEVM: Issue in reading four different video inputs from NullSrc Link using 4 different channels

Hello all,

I am currently working on TDA2PXEVM linux platform. My usecase is as per below,

NullSource (A15) -> Decode -> VPE -> Sync (A15) -> ALG_A -> Display_M4 (IPU1_0)

In the above usecase I am reading four different videos using NullSource link. I have modified the link to read 4 input using 4 different channel. But the problem is when I passes same video for four channel it is working fine and has the ouput over display for each of four video. But as soon as I have passed four different videos the output is not coming correctly and shows the black screen.

I have tried to give the input in the combination of two and three with one video repeated, so these combination is working fine. I am not able to trace where the problem is occurring for four different videos. 

Can anyone provide the inputs regarding the same so as to solve the issue.

    Hi Shanthanu,

    1) What is the behavior with 2 or 3 channels?

    2) Please add prings in SYSTEM_NEW_DATA command of decLink and confirm all the 4 channels are received.

    3) What is meant by "output is not coming correctly"

    Hello Ramprasad,

    1) In 2 and 3 channels means I have passed combination of 2 videos to first and second channel and same set to third and fourth channel. In that I am able to get my output of plugin as well as the output of 1st channel video passed to display. In 3 set of videos for 4 channels also I am able to get the output in similar way where I have passed 3 different videos to 3 channels and out of three any 1 to fourth.

    2) I will add prints in dec link but can not able to check due to lockdown in here as hardware is not available with me right now.

    3) In 4 set of videos display is getting black that means the video given to output from my plugin is not coming which was working for set of 2 and set of 3 videos.

    Please note that decode link throws error sometimes regarding the videos at respective channel in each of the above cases. I am using .H264 format for videos. 

    Again is there any other method to debug in linux platform besides GDB as I was not able to connect JTAG debugger using CCS which I am able to connect when I worked on SYSBIOS.
