1. Yes, 48-Bit addressing is supported. This is firmware/ s/w / driver related as opposed to h/w. So long as your application firmware supports 48-bit addressing, no issue with the h/w.
2. No we do not. We have stated the support for the AHCI 1.1 Specification. This specification clearly indicates that Command Based Switching is the only one supported. See CAP[FBSS] field description. This field should be/is ZERO.
