DMVA2IPNC to trigger another camera

Hi,

Is it possible to run DMVA2IPNC in a mood where it can trigger another camera at the detection of an event?

Regards,

  • There is GIO alarm out signal that can put to active high or low and you can configure through GUI.

Please use thisas an signal to trigger other camera.

Other way is to send RTSP metadata from server over network so that camera activates other services like video encoding.

    Regards,

  • Thanks for the reply. The other camera that I am using is not DMVA2IPNC. It is PhotonFocus GigE camera. Is it still possible to trigger the other camera with DMVA's alaram out signal or sending RTSP data over the network?

  • I am using DMVA2IPNC camera with PhotonFocus GigE camera (both connected with Gigabit ethernet switch and streaming to a PC). The DMVA2IPNC should run in a continuous mood. At the motion detection, it should trigger the PhotonFocus camera. I configure the motion detection algorithm on the DMVA2IPNC  server and set the alarm at motion detection (with External output trigger ON). I, now, don't have idea how to read the ALM-OUT signal from Davinci camera in order to trigger the PhotonFocus camera. Similarly, as described by you in your last post, I can also send a RTSP metada from DMVA2 over the internet in order to trigger the second camera. Can you please explain a little how can I do this?

So please provide me some hints about the ALM-OUT output from DMVA2 and sending the RTSP metadata over the network.

    Regards,
