AM35x SDRC registers

You can also find these registers in the AM35x Technical Reference Manual (sprugr0b)  in section 9.2.3.4.3.

Thanks, Jeff, for the link.  I've searched sprugr0b and they're not in that document.  The section you quote does not have the registers I'm looking for. 

For example, 0x6d000080 is PERF_CNT_1, an EMIF register, not the SDRC_MCFG register I'm looking for, as given in the x-loader source.

What am I missing?

As another point of reference, based on the conflicts I'm finding, both EMIF SDRAM_REF_CTRL and SDCR SDCR_SYSCONFIG have the same address... 0x6D000010.

The Technical Reference I have has the registers defined in section 9.2.3.4.3. Can you take a look there?

If you look at my latest post, I give some specific registers... they don't appear in sprugr0b on pages 1046-1047.

Exactly.  The headers from x-loader (and presumably u-boot and the kernel... I haven't checked both of those yet) say that 0x6d000080 should be SDRC_MCFG (OMAP34XX_SDRC_BASE+0x80).  The base register is defined to be 0x6d000000.

Ok, I see what you are talking about...I thought you were saying it wasn't there, not that it had different mapping.

The reason the offset is different is most likely because the x-loader that you have was written for either OMAP35x or AM37x which has a different memory controller than the AM35x.  for AM35x the correct offsets are what is listed in the TRM that I linked. 

That is correct, the AM35x uses the EMIF registers and OMAP35x and AM37x use the SDRC registers like what you mentioned before.

Where did you get the x-loader you are using?

It's from the library AM35x-OMAP35x-PSP-SDK-03.00.00.05.

Just to clear this up for anyone reading, this should be handled when you do the config for AM3517.  the AM3517evm file is where they call the EMIF4_CFG register.
