AM4379: IDK evm starting a new design with ethercat : confirmation on version SDK & ethercat package to use

Hello everybody ,

I m going to start a new design using AM437x and onboard PRUs for ethercat .

please could you kindly confirm me :

--> which version of SDK and Ethercat package are needed to have a smooth and working start ? on AM57xx I had some version mismatch issues on my side ...

--> is a new SDK for Am437 or ethercat package happening soon ?

any suggestion also on CCS version etc are very welcome

The SDK version is listed in the UG - http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-industrial-sw/esd/docs/indsw/EtherCAT_Slave/01_00_07/PRU_ICSS_EtherCAT.html#component-version

Yes, there will be a new EtherCAT release available soon. I will find out the schedule and then get back to you.

The latest CCSv10 should work too.

The new EtherCAT release shall be on ti.com in a week, and the SDK version will be updated in user guide as well.
