Is " ti_cgt_c6000_6.0.8_setup_win32_5 " compiler compatible with Win7?

I installed it and a windows compatibility service message appeared as below:

    C6000 compiler version 6.0.8 was released in October 2006.  At that time, Windows XP was dominant.  Windows 7 was released in 2009.  So, this version of the compiler was never tested with Windows 7.  That said, I would expect it to work.  I've seen even older versions of the compiler work with Windows 10.
