PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X: Windows support

Hi TI Team,

We are planning to port Windows 10 IOT core on AM57xx SoCs platform. Below are our initial queries regarding the approach.

1) Is there any known issues in porting Windows 10 IOT core on AM57xx SoC?

2) Do you provide any porting guidelines for Windows 10 IOT Core on AM57xx series?

3) Windows 10 IOT core needs firmware bootloader for any SoCs, Did TI provide anything like that (or) we need to port from starterware firmware?

4) Is UEFI booting option is supported for AM57xx SoCs? if No, is it possible to make UEFI booting for AM57xx?

5) Do you provide any Windows 10 driver development support?

Hi,

No, we do not support UEFI boot. There are 2 ways to support UEFI:

- using Tianocore as bootloader: https://www.tianocore.org/. This involves full porting to tianocore

- Enabling UEFI support in U-Boot. This is available only on latest bootloaders.

TI does not have plans for either of the above, this is a path forward for you.
