TDA2P-ACD: Second CSI2 port issue

Hi,

We have custom made board with TDA2p processor. We want to use more than 4 cameras using both CSI2 ports (4 lanes + 2 lanes).
Usecase started successful, but there is a problem with cameras on second CSI port (image). The first three cameras are from first port and the last two cameras are from second port.

There are a lot of questions about this problem on forum, but there is no straight answer. Can you give us some guidelines how to solve this problem.
Is this problem related to ISS Capture (CAL) or ISP?

Hello Nevena,

This is related for CAL. It is not possible to use more than 4 channels for 12bit input.

Hello Nevena,

More than 4 channel is HW limitation. We have only 4 context in CAL, with which we can convert MIPI format to RAW format..

Thanks for the reply. Also, this potentially can be resolved by using DSP/EVE in order to convert MIPI format to RAW format?

Well you could use it, but i don't think there is any existing kernels available.
