hi i'm using visiond_sdk_03_05.

i want to see zoom effect.

my uscase is IssCapture->custoalgo->IssM2mIsp->IssM2mSimcop->Display

inputdataformat is raw data and output is YUV_420

there are several method to cropping, use Isp or dss \

i want to update displayed image based on user preference of X,Y start position , cropsize and scalefactor coordinate so i am in a need to pass these dynamic parameters to display link.

i saw a technical reference tda3x, isp can crop and resize

so i change link paramter and see the crop image. but when i use scale facotr, i can't see any display image

use dss or isp what is correct?

Hi,

Runtime change in parameters are not supported in display link or iss link. I think it is best to change display link, as display driver supports this feature. Could you please try adding it? You could add some control command to change crop parameters and then that could be passed to the driver..

In usecase, glbce parameters are changed in runtime by system_linkcontrol function. but rsz module can't control

Hi seok,

The problem is, once you change rsz parameters, we will have to change dss input parameters also, which is not supported.

I am capturing video of 640 * 480 and i am displaying only 640 *480 size of frame buffer.

I could see the crop and zoom effect after following changes at run time.

case 'h':

It was okay to use each. but when i change both parameter in same time(click 'b',) the screen freezes. i don't know what's difference changing parameter both or each. (The result was the same after pressing h and then pressing w.)

other case is when I set the cropstart parameter like cropStartX =30, cropStartY = 30, it's fine video. However, when it is over 30, the video stops.

Please suggest if i am missing anything.

ok, we will have to check in the register if resizer registers are setup correctly.

Can you please take dump of 40 registers from 0x52040400 offset and share it?

Hi,

It is difficult to validate from image file. Can you dump them in text of dat format from ccs?

You could open CCS memory window, right click on it, select option save memory, provide path, start address and size and use extension as .dat for this file..

As we discussed over chat, please try moving input pointer to get crop and then use Resizer for scaling..
