Compiler/PROCESSOR-SDK-DRA8X-TDA4X: Issue with TIDL Test Bench Debugging on EVM

Thank you for your response. The response helped us and we were able to run the test bench.

Below are our concerns :

1. We had provided 5 frames as input but it ran for 3 frames and then got stuck. The output for 3 frames matched but we are not sure as to why it did not complete execution for 5 frames.

2. We have written an application to run the same network. We have used AVP example as a reference for this. The application executes and the output for PC emulation mode matches with our reference. 

When we try to run the same application on target, the outputs generated are different. Is there anything specific that needs to be set in the application for target?

1. When you say it is stuck after three frames, is the TIDL process stuck or the file Read/write from SD card stuck. 

If it is SD card read issue, Did you try multiple times? Is the behavior consistent?

2. Is this application OpenVx based? If yes, are you running from Linux? You may need to provide more information on this.

1. We will try to run the test bench multiple times and check the behavior. Since it matched for 3 frames , we can assume that our network is working fine on the test bench. However it has some issues when we run the application.

2. Our main focus is to get the application running on EVM. Details of the application are as below :

We have written the application using OpenVx framework which does all the initializations on a72 and the node runs on c7x.

The application is inline with AVP example.

We have followed the basic graph creation process and provided necessary inputs.(input image in tensor, Network binary files)
