AM5708: GMAC PTP PPS over timer13

Part Number: AM5708

Hi:

I have a AM5708 custom board with SDK5.02. I have implemented PTP over GMAC and am using timer13 for PPS output.

I have just moved to SDK6.02 and have realized that timer13 is not properly initialized by Linux, in fact I have to initiate its

PRCM register to set its clock from my DSP application if I want to read its content.

I have noticed that "/sys/class/ptp/ptp0/pps_available" is set to zero in SDK6.02 while it is set to 1 in SDK5.02.

Attached are the raw dts files from SDK6.02 and SK5.02. I see that there is a difference when assigning the clock to timer13. (Search timer13).

From SDK5.02 to SDK6.02 it seems that timer clock management has changed from dts point of view.
